Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your local identity (DID) and for all activities under your identity. Your identity is stored locally on your device, and it is essential to keep your device secure to protect your data.

Local Data Storage

All data, including your local identity and related metadata, is stored exclusively on your device. No personal information (email, name, etc.) is stored by Ag Digest. However, community translations and other decentralized data may be backed up in services like OrbitDB or IPFS for persistence, with no personal data involved.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not engage in any activity that could harm the services, other users, or Ag Digest’s reputation. This includes, but is not limited to, attempts to compromise the security of the platform, misuse of decentralized services, or infringement of intellectual property rights.

Termination

Ag Digest reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any users who violate these Terms. Because identities are local and not tied to centralized accounts, the suspension or termination of access will not affect the integrity of your local identity, but may prevent access to some services until the violation is resolved.

Intellectual Property

All content and intellectual property provided by Ag Digest, including its website, platform, and services, are the exclusive property of Ag Digest or its licensors. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use these materials without permission.

Data Security

Your identity and data are stored securely on your device, and only you control access to it. Ag Digest does not have access to your identity or personal data unless you choose to use decentralized backup services for your data. We implement industry-standard encryption and security practices to ensure that your data remains protected while using our platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ag Digest operates. Any disputes related to these Terms will be resolved in the jurisdiction specified by Ag Digest.

Limitation of Liability

Ag Digest is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to damages resulting from the loss of local data due to device failure, accidental deletion, or any other unforeseen technical issues.
